Product Description

A ladies' man he isn't! If Sato's nerdy neighbor Yamazaki can score a cute girl, does Sato stand a chance? In a desperate bid to turn his miserable existence around, Sato agrees to Misaki's mysterious plan to cure him of his reclusive ways. Unfortunately, her so-called "counseling sessions" may prove to be yet another scam!

Meanwhile, the little stability Sato's been able to develop is knocked down to its foundations when mom announces a surprise visit! When saving face means more than just clearing the piles of garbage from his room, can Sato convince some unfortunate girl to pretend to be his fiancee? And when Misaki cheerfully volunteers to play the part, the question is whether Sato's charms are finally starting to work, or if it's just another conspiracy!

This special collector's edition includes a custom series artbox sized to hold the entire three-volume series.

Contains episodes 5-8.

Overall : I've read a lot of mangas, but I have to say that NHK is currently topping all my other favorites. It's a mix of dark comedy and abuse, but not without a spice of happiness it is not your typical comedy. The story isn't rushed and the art is unique and may take a few chap ... Read More

Overall : This was probably one of the best books I've read. It was very funny and it kept me interested throughout the whole novel. It follows the manga sort of, but the manga is a bit more silly. It's still a good book though. It deserves a 5.

Overall : Well, unlike my predecessors who have reviewed this I can't give it 5 stars. I admit it was good comedy. But I've recently learned about the hikikomori syndrome and do not find it all that funny. When I learned there was a manga dealing with the subject, I guess I wante ... Read More
