With Mai and Sayuri in recovery, Yuichi turns his attention back to learning more about his past. First, this leads him to the strained and complex relationship between Kaori and the ailing Shiori. Kaori's self-imposed distance will be put to the test as Shiori and Yuichi continue to build upon their rather delicate bond. Next, things hit a little closer to home. Yuichi and Ayu finally start to make some headway in discovering what they once had together. Unfortunately, the more pieces Yuichi finds out about his life, the more perplexed he seems to be.
